Harry Hill is regarded as one of the UK's finest and most original stand up comedians. His unique brand of humour, interweaving running gags, music, short films and far-fetched yarns, has been rewarded with numerous awards, countless nominations and many accolades. Born in Woking, Surrey in 1964, Hill grew up in Hong Kong and Kent before studying neurosurgery at the University of London. After leaving his job as a doctor at Doncaster Royal Infirmary to concentrate on his standup career, he landed his own TV show on Channel 4, The Harry Hill Show. the rest, as they say, is history. Greatly admired across the Atlantic, Harry made a storming appearance on The Late Show (CBS), and has since been invited back five times - a record for a British stand-up.
