Dr. Tam's clinical interest is Interventional Radiology and is currently completing a Fellowship in Oncological Interventions at the Cleveland Clinic.
Mat has a strong interest in medical education and he is interested in how undergraduates and postgraduates learn and understand anatomy. He researches the role of radiological material in medical education. He is Honorary Faculty on the Core Surgical Anatomy Programme, the Royal College of Surgeons. He was recently admitted to the Council of the British Association of Clinical Anatomists.
