My husband and I have been in recovery from all opiates since April 2021, and we continue to reach for full recovery from other vices. I too write poetry pertaining to my addictions, experiences and life in all of its beauty and gore. I downloaded a sample of this book and I was completely moved! I think the way he transformed his experiences into words gives amazing insight into the chaotic life of an addict. So much so, that I believe even those who don't really understand addiction, will be able to have an understanding of that of a fly, who spent time on his wall.
