About this ebook

Fear may fill the world but does not have to fill your heart.

Each sunrise seems to bring fresh reasons for fear. Layoffs at work. Slowdowns in the economy. Health scares. Division. Oversized and rude, fear herds us into the prison of our anxious minds and keeps us from the freedom Christ offers.

New York Times bestselling author and pastor Max Lucado invites us to turn to faith, not fear, as our default reaction to the threats of life. In this book, Max will help you:

  • Find freedom from the fear of insignificance.
  • Take comfort that the Lord will never leave your side.
  • Unleash your worries and become filled with peace.

Today, learn to trust more and fear less.

This book is a great book for those who are having struggles with worry, fear, doubt on general. I didn't always approve of how many translations he used to prove his point on the matter, especailly using translations such as The Message, which are more easy to read but are paraphrased, and because it's paraphrased, the more you paraphrase it, the greater there is a chance of distorting what the Word actually says. But overall it's a good book. I give it three stars, and I would recommend it as a comfort to those who are layed down with worry, doubt, greif, pain and fear, something that Christ never intend's us to feel.

I bought the book on a recommendation from a friend who praised the insights that Lucado offers. However, I simply found that there wasn't the depth of thought present that I am accustomed to in some of his other publications. Overall, I would not recommend unless you can somehow get your hands on a free copy.

Just started reading this book. Was recommended by a friend. Seems good for starters. Love how Max Lucado writes simple for better understanding. Although I am not familiar with some words from the book as I am a bilingual person where Spanish (Latina) is my first language. But am starting to enjoy it. Hope I come back to tell how it ended for me. God bless!
