"Maybe this was supposed to happen", as the title suggests, is a book of poetry and musings which describes my feelings and experiences I went through the journey of love in my life.
We all have been in love, haven't we? Let it be one sided love, a love with no future, a love with broken hearts or a love with a happy ending, we all have went through different phases of love in our lives and the objective of the book is to make one relate with his own phase and learn about the others.
They say love is cliché, therefore this book aims to break this stereotype and show the beauty and as well as how harmful love could be.
This book, isn't just a collection of poems, but the life journey I went through and so therefore it not only consists positive, but also negative content including poems containing self harm, anxiety, mental disorders etc. which may trigger you while reading the work and may affect your mental and physical health.

Shubhank Jonwal, a.k.a Shubh, is a twenty-year-old guy from the city of hearts, Delhi. He is currently pursuing his graduation in B.Com. A guy who enjoys music, football, animes, dinner tables, silent places, humor, and smiles. He firmly believes that happiness is the cure. Started his writing career four years ago, and now he is up with his debut book, "maybe this was supposed to happen." He believes that he has the most beautiful smile. He is a guy wearing his vulnerabilities as pride and his stammering as armor.
