Meant to Be

I enjoyed reading about some place I felt familiar with. Madison, Indiana is almost like the book is calling River's Edge with the described events. It was nice Meg and Sean finally realized they belonged together.

I thoroughly enjoyed Sam’s and Conor story in book one of this series, and was looking forward to this one. This story belongs to Megan and Sean, another of the Flaherty brothers. Megan Mackenzie and Sean Flaherty have been best friends since their childhood. Megan is now an accountant and mayor of River’s Edge and Sean is a hotshot lawyer in Chicago. When he’s shot in front of a courthouse in Chicago, he returns home to recuperate. I have to confess I found it dragging a bit and It wasn’t until I had read 40% of the book that I got into it. That said, it was a sweet , clean romance perfect for an afternoon of leisure. The best part is the relationship between the four brothers and the townspeople. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Wonderfully delightful and worthwhile story of longtime friends who, at last, confess their feelings for one another and realise they were destined to be together!
