While it is not necessary to read all the series, in order to avoid spoilers the ideal reading order of the Adept Universe begins with Cupcakes, Trinkets, and Other Deadly Magic (Dowser 1).

thrilling adventure the main characters journey of discovery of her magic and other supernaturals. this story is different than any others I've read raced through it. look forward to more adventures & learning more about the other characters in this story

8.5/10 stars. At times the book includes excessive details about inconsequential things, particularly at the beginning. It was a good story and ending was not overly predictable. Seriously considering reading the sequel, and will add it to my list.
