Nick Galloway had three things he planned on doing arriving home to Wedlock Creek. One, he made a promise to check on Brooke Timber and her twins after the babies’ father had died saving his life .two, try to talk to his father and brother possibly mending the rift between them, and three, buy a ranch. Brooke is a wedding planner and a single mother to Mikey and Morgan and trying to juggle both a family and a job. Nick comes to her rescue while she is trying to land an account that would bring in more business. As a result, he becomes her temporary manny. As Brooke plans Nick’s father’s wedding, they both begin to face emotions and feelings they thought long buried. This was a cute story. The way Nick interacted with the boys, tugs on your heart strings. Several times during the story you want to shake his brother Brandon because he couldn’t get through his head that Nick didn’t want to work in the family paper business. I enjoyed the interaction between Nick and Brooke as they both come to realize their feeling towards each other. Will look forward to reading Brandon and Heather’s story.
