About this ebook

It's Halloween night, also known as Meowl-o-ween! Cats are on the prowl, ready to give trick-or-treaters a fright. But one lost kitten is scared--will she find her way and join the fun? This fresh and fun Halloween read-aloud is a spooky-but-sweet story.

On frightful, delightful Meowl-o-ween, cats slink by carved pumpkins and prepare to spook the trick-or-treaters parading the streets. But not all of the cats are enjoying the flashing lights and costumes. A lone kitten is overwhelmed by the crowds and doesn’t know which way to turn! This  Halloween tale is a rhyming read-aloud that shows even the smallest scaredy-cat can find the courage to overcome their fears and anxieties.
  • SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING ANGLE: Halloween and other holidays can be tough for some kids! The little kitten’s narrative provides an entry point for children to talk about their own fears and anxieties.
  • READ-ALOUD APPEAL: The rhyming text and vibrant illustrations are ideal to share at bedtime or during read-alouds.
  • PERFECT FOR CAT AND ANIMAL LOVERS: Featuring a fun variety of cats each with their own distinct personality, this cat-driven story will delight feline fans and is an excellent addition to animal-themed shelves.
  • THREE STORIES AND MULTIPLE POINTS OF VIEW IN THE ART: The tale of the cats preparing to scare the trick-or-treaters is interwoven with the stories of a frightened kitten and of a cat-loving trick-or-treater.
