About this ebook

Michael Roads had always been close to nature, but when a river started talking to him, he began to doubt his sanity. A series of encounters with the natural world followed, and Roads began to listen and let go. He found himself led stage by stage to a final wisdom, remarkable in its simplicity and in its message of hope for humanity. This book, a bind-up of his two best-known works, beautifully articulates that message.

About the author

Michael J. Roads was born in England, and from the time he was a child delving into the mysteries of a hidden, silent Nature, he has spent his life as an outdoorsman. During a decade of farming in Tasmania, Michael went through profound changes, gradually becoming attuned to the spirit of the land. This change was to take him away from farming and into a search for Self. Roads’ life now consists of writing and giving talks and seminars throughout Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
