About this ebook

From USA Today Bestselling Author Michelle Dare comes a story of overcoming your fears and finding love when you least expect it.

The night Lucy almost drowned is seared into her memory. Living in a home with the ocean as her neighbor is her daily reminder of what she’s gone through.

A recent law school graduate, Ellis, decides to spend his summer with his best friends in Ray Point. It’s their last chance to have fun together before they enter the workforce.

It’s supposed to be days on the sand and parties at night, but that changes when Ellis sees Lucy.

Lucy’s ex isn’t ready to let her go. He’s still in her life, though not in the way he wants. He tries to come between Ellis and Lucy, determined to win her back.

There’s only one man for her. The one who calms her and makes her feel free from the fear she’s lived with for far too long.

Floating is a new adult romance standalone book. There is plenty of emotion, hurt/comfort, and a HEA.

Floating is the type of story that makes you yell "Hooray" at the end. It is the story of a very hopeful romance that blossoms quickly and will be the forever love that Ellis and Lucy deserve. Michelle Dare bravely takes on an aspect of mental illness that is probably more common than we know. Lucy's desire to just be normal and not be judged is perhaps the mantra of millions of people who suffer similarly. I received a free copy of the book from Booksprout. I am voluntarily leaving this review.

This is story is emotional and touching. It is about Lucy and Ellis. She is living with fear and anxiety because of what happened to her. It is made worse the crashing waves and ocean. Ellis is hoping to have one last summer before the reality of life and a career begin. He takes one look at Lucy and falls hard and fast. This is such a good read that pulled at my heartstrings.

I started this book at bedtime and was not putting it down until I finished. Lucy was saved from drowning by her best male friend Gabe. It left her with things she has to overcome so she left her hometown. She is now back and meets Ellis one very caring man. I would say read this story I do not think you will be disappointed. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
