I'm not gonna lie enjoyed her first two books but didn't really like this one I am one of those people that once I start a book I finish it but in all honesty couldn't wait for it to end not in a good way great message but boring and depressing I would not recommend

I didn't like the writing style, there was no suspense or intrigue it was all so over emphasised

Passionate, thrilling, nail biting and so very very sad.

Michelle Frances has worked in television drama as a producer and script editor for fifteen years, both for the independent sector and the BBC. The Daughter is her third novel, following The Girlfriend and The Temp.
