About the author

Steve Wide and Michelle Mackintosh are certified Japanophiles. They spend around three months every year in Tokyo - their home away from home. Together, they have written, photographed and designed numerous books on Japanese culture.

Steve is a writer and DJ. He hosts the long-running UK music radio show Far and Wide on 3RRR FM and has authored multiple books for The A-Z Series on pop cultural icons and 'The Field Guides' music series.

Michelle is a multi-award-winning book designer and illustrator. She designs lifestyle and cultural books on a range of topics and has written two books on analog correspondence, Snail Mail and Care Packages.

Steve and Michelle live in Melbourne.
