This series is one of the best I have read and it is what had inspired and pulled me back to read again. I am still too clouded and unsure of what to make of the ending. I guess no war can be one without any sacrifices, Lia was the one I connected to most but I did have a special place for Alice and always will. It broke my heart to finally find out how it was going to end for Alice. I still can't quite fathom the fact she is gone. I gues that is something I will have to get use to. A bittersweet ending.
