Liana Brooks is not an immortal who has forgotten more than a human mind can hope to learn in one lifetime, she just sounds like one. If you ignore her archaic vocabulary and fondness for century-long naps, she's an ordinary author living in the Pacific Northwest with her family and her giant dog who is absolutely not named Cerberus.
