Über dieses E-Book

Welcome to our second Midwinter Anthology. Our second collection of poems and short stories, all offered for free. This is a small present from us, to you. While there is no theme in the anthology, we hope that you will find herein a harmony.

Micheal Greenwell offers us a pause on a journey in Moments Between, a story that typifies the journey of life.

Jenny Oldroyd offers a take on love and it's constant battle with lust, in her poem Poem 1

Kim Hosking offers us two stories that explore themese of love. In the first Dear Kate Kim explores different understandings of what it means to love, and what that love could look like. In Perks and Daily she offers us an alternative view of the world, exploring an urban myth about the loss of a loved one.

Megan Bettinson explores the love for a place, for her city. Speaking of the deep longing for home in her poem Hiraeth.

Lumde Nopem offers us a short story that explores the love of a writer for their created world, and explores what it means to give everything to a book in Thai sat down, took a sip of tea, and began to write.

Georgia Finch offers a poem about chasing our hearts desire, and what it means to not quite be good enough, yet, in her poem Untitled.

Duncan J. McNulty explores the theme of love in both This Years Love, and Illusion. Love can be found in all kinds of places, some of which can change how we view the thigns around us, or, how we explore and understand our own reactions.

Phil Bettinson offers us a rather dark take on escaping a relationship without love in The Devil and Mrs. Durant, perhaps not one to be read too late at night.

Ulysses Jones offers us the struggle of offering our heart to someone in his poem Sweet Little Nothings - or perhaps more

Natasha Borton explores the the sea-side, exploring it's affect on us, and perhaps even, on our souls in her poem Ar Lan Y Mor (Down by the sea)

We hope that you read these stories, and enjoy them. So, without further ado, rest yourselves by the fire, and enjoy this Midwinter Anthology.
