Tae Keller grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she spent her time searching for hidden portals and fairytale worlds. Now, she writes about hope, friendship, and everyday magic, and lives in Seattle with her husband and a multitude of books. She is the author of Jennifer Chan is Not Alone and When You Trap a Tiger, winner of the Newbery Medal.
