About this ebook

The five-string bass is growing rapidly in popularity due to its expanded tonal range plus the added versatility and creativity it offers. Mike Hiland is an accomplished bassist and writer. Building on the player's knowledge of four-string bass, this easy-to-understand, nuts-and-bolts method in notation and tablature gives the player the tools to tackle the extra low end (low B string). It presents what the bass student both wants and needs to know including finger exercises, scales, arpeggios, slapping, and tricks to help you around the 5-string! Downloadable audio is available online which demonstrates each of the scales and exercises at full tempo with a drum machine.

I have been trying to get a refund, but I guess the phone method is not an option for this. It is also about 4or5 days old, so if someone could please Contact me from Google about returning this book, I want to get a different one. However my refund factor's into that. [email protected]
