Author Cindy Tanner keeps the reader locked in with her non-linear writing style and wonderful way with words. Tanners' characters come alive with personified emotions that the reader can feel. She does an amazing job of telling the story out of order therefore building suspense and keeping the reader locked in until the very end. This story reminds readers what if feels like to be young and in love, yet challenges the ideas surrounding what comes next. When the newness fades and real life comes into play. How does that love manifest itself? Tanner compels the reader to feel and to reflect. This story is so much more layered, complicated and beautiful than meets the eye. Cindy Tanner has created something truly special and should be very proud of the story and characters
