Freek krijgt een langding van zijn broer Oeke. `Hij is van Lies geweest, zegt Oeke. `Hij heet Langejan. De pop is eng en veel te groot. Bijna net zo eng als wolf Woeste Willie die in de kast bij de trap woont. Freek durft niet te zeggen dat hij Langejan niet hebben wil, want Lies is de vriendin van Oeke. Freek speelt het liefste op het strand. Hij verzamelt rotzooi die mooi is. maar Langejan is zo lelijk dat Freek de pop van de trap gooit. Pas als hij bij Lies is, krijgt hij spijt. Misschien is Langejan aardiger dan hij lijkt?
