Since the death of her parents when she was three years old, Anna Bartlett has lived with her grandfather and his housekeeper at Dunsford House. Connie Monk grew up in Reading currently lives in Shaldon in Devon. She began writing after her husband retired, with her first novel published in 1984. She has since been been nominated for the Romantic Novel of the Year Award twice.
