About this ebook

After defeating the treants in Ajole village, Ash and the Territory Reform Promotion Office embark on a trip to the Sukun region, famous for its hot springs. Maika sees this as the perfect opportunity to confess her feelings for Ash but is beaten to the draw by the boy’s words, “I like you, but my heart lies somewhere else.”

Following her rejection, Maika makes it her mission to change Ash’s mind by participating in the Royal Sword Tournament, where the winner is granted any wish. It’s the same tournament that was once won by her father, Klein, who used his victory to ask for Yuika’s hand in marriage! Thus, Maika prepares to put on a legendary performance in the name of love!

This is the fifth chapter of the story about a young boy who sets out to revolutionize the world in order to rebuild civilization and create his ideal life!

this was such a disappointment in many ways. they breezed over all the parts about him researching in favor of reintroducing a love triangle that went nowhere. her inspiring battle with death to prove her love was at best a joke with how simplistic the fights all really were and it was insulting to the reader for that to be a final battle. this book could have been in bullet point format and it would have felt any different in my honest opinion. it also seems to be that the author is just going to turn the demons into a form of resources instead of an actual threat.

The capital should have been a great book the culmination of where the hero wanted to be for four books. Right now I just want the hero to go back to the boonies! A story with no bad guy or villain can make a story so unstable. Is the hero actually the villain too?! Previous books had interesting bad guys like harsh circumstances or just plain surviving. People villains don't seem to work for this author. Datara as villain was very disappointing at best. It was great to see Arthur again though her name reveal was SO anti-climactic! I'm really tired of the whole hot spring episode thing; there was an interesting twist ending to it so read anyway. Add in another sword tournament really? At least previous one was teenager beating on teenager. One can see the two major plot devices in the novel as little stagnation. I'm glad to see MC & FMC relationship take off somewhat?! This had all the feel of a bridge 📖. Author should put something better in the next installment. It's 👍4 series.
