Amazing. Mnnn, waiting for the second books already feels like years. Wei Wuxian's 'cutsleeve' behavior is just so hilarious to read. The driving plot, and twists that I anticipate, but still get shocked at just make this book a classic that I would definitely read in a few years. I love Lan Wangji's devotion to who he loves. MXTX never fails to deliver!!!

This is the best story I have ever read ever in my entire life. I... can't explain how good it is. If you're debating buying this, do it. You will not regret it. First of all, it's an amazing emotional story that teaches INCREDIBLE lessons and REALLY makes you think. It turns a lot on its head and punches you in the stomach. It's a lot to swallow and think about sometimes. Second of all, this is the best LGBTQ+ story ive ever experienced. It's realistic. Yes, there are 2 or 3 moments that are tropey but the rest is so beautifully done that it makes me astounded. I have never seen a grand GOOD story that has lgbtq romance beautifully and naturally weaved into it. It doesn't even begin that way and its not the main point either. Look, I can't explain how much this book will change you in 1000 characters. read it. You will think differently and you may even realize a lot of things about life and the world in general. I would compare the writing to Avatar:tla. its amazing. read it. buy it.
