Was bedeutet Solidarität? Was bedeutet solidarite? In beiden Fallen handelt es sich um die Frage nach der Bedeutung abstrakter Sachverhalte, die trotz ihrer vermeintlichen Aquivalenz an der lexikalischen Oberflache jeweils eine unterschiedliche kulturellem Perspektivik reprasentieren. Die vorliegende Studie untersucht mittels eines vergleichenden Wortassoziationsexperimentes, das die assoziativen Reaktionen von insgesamt 750 Sprecher:innen des Deutschen, Französischen und arabischen auf 12 konkrete und 12 abstrakte Begriffe umfasst, inwieweit sich Konkreta und Abstrakta im Hinblick auf ihre kulturspezifische Konzeptualisierung unterscheiden.
