Monique has once again weaved a tale that had me on the edge of my seat. I could not get through this installment fast enough to find out what happens next! Also love the details that really allow me to envision each scene of the story. Fans of the series will not be disappointed. Cannot wait for #8 :)

I have read all seven books in this series, and each story is more exciting than the last. Simon and Elizabeth once again travel to the past. This time they have to stop an event from happening that has changed history. Simon and Elizabeth have to keep certain events from occuring while allowing gruesome murders to happen. But nothing can stop the most horrible thing of all... Elizabeth has to once again wear a corset!

I have really enjoyed this series. The combination of real events with time travel and a bit of romance make for a fun read!

About the author

Monique was born in Houston, Texas, but her family soon moved to Southern California. She grew up on both coasts, living in Connecticut and California. She currently resides in Southern California with her naughty Siamese cat, Monkey.

Monique attended the University of Southern California's Film School where she earned a BFA from the Filmic Writing department. Monique worked in television for several years before joining the family business. She now works full-time as a freelance writer and novelist.

She's currently working on an adaptation of one of her screenplays, her father's memoirs about his time in the Air Force's Air Rescue Service and the next book in the Out of Time series.
