Ruby and Boone’s second chance story in Montana Blueprint for Love by Debra Salonen, book one in her new Property Sisters series is a wonderful take on reclaiming the one that got away. On the day Ruby McCall returns home, fired from her job, her dad health takes a hit and a secret project he had been working on becomes Ruby’s problem. It seems his dad purchased a fixer-upper for sentimental reasons, not financial, and this acquisition could bankrupt them. Summit Construction no longer belongs to only the McCalls, Boone Fielding bought half the company and is now a partner and the son her dad always wanted. Ruby and Boone were in love before Ruby left for college and Boone’s father died, forcing him to stay in Marietta and take care of his mother. Boone offers to let Ruby apprentice with him as they flip the derelict ranch house and save Summit Construction, but it just might cost both of them their hearts. Boone has no problem helping Ruby and her sisters flip the “money pit” but he distrusts Ruby and believes he can’t partner with her. When some secret meddling, from their past, becomes public, Boone and Ruby discover how their earlier relationship and break-up was manipulated by the adults in their life, not each other. Working every day on the job reminds each of them why they originally fell in love. Not only is the attraction between these two still there, their chemistry is off the charts and the electricity between them could light up the work site. Boone and Ruby never lost the love they once had; it was in hibernation until they were together again. Ms. Salonen wrote a wonderful second chance story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, laughs, and charming characters giving Ruby and Boone a chance to reclaim their forever love. I highly recommend Montana Blueprint for Love to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed Montana Blueprint for Love and am eagerly awaiting book 2. This promises to be a very entertaining series. Ruby's parents have always pushed her to not work in the family remodeling business. But when Ruby loses her job, returns home and asks to work for her dad, his health scare lands him in the hospital. Ruby and her sisters, together with Boone step up to see if they can save the company. This well written book is that journey - as well as Ruby and Boone's second chance at love. Do not miss out on this heart warming tale.

Brand new series that begins with daughter coming home to talk to her parents. Normal right. Yea well not so much when you realize that the when the daughter left for college years before she left behind her high school boyfriend Boone who now works side by side with her dad. Oh it gets better because life is funny like that and she likes to throw things at ya like anxiety attacks at her dad on the day Ruby comes home. So Boone and Ruby end up running the show, together. Oh boy this is something else in itself. Oh Yes I forgot the Money Pit. You have to read that believe it. I really enjoyed this second chance romance but not only that it is about 3 sisters and family...lots of families and how they treat each other. I am so looking forward to the next book and the following one already as well. I can tell from teasers through this one the two sisters are going to be so much fun when they find their men too.
