What a wonderful start to a new series that is based partly in Marietta (my favorite fictional town) and the other part in Paradise Valley, Montana. Joe Wyatt is the eldest of 4 boys who all were rodeo competitors. Joe came home to the ranch when his grandpa and Mom Summer mentioned needed his help about 5 years ago and he has been helping out since. Joe decides it time to find a wife so he puts an ad on the internet and Sophie answers it. She is just out of a relationship and going towards Marietta and Paradise Valley is the best thing for her. She just might nor realize it yet. If you have ever read a book based in either of these places you will know the characters are wonderful and the landscapes are beautiful. What I loved about this book was being able to catch up with old friends while gaining new ones too. Joe and Sophie are an amazing couple that's story is one I will re-read I am sure time and time again with his brother's books.

I loved this story; reading it in one day!! Words fail to describe how much I truly loved reading Joe and Sophie’s story of a modern take on a mail-order marriage in Montana Cowboy Romance by Jane Porter, the first book in her Wyatt Brothers series. Placing an online ad for a mail-order bride gives Joe an opportunity to find a woman who could tolerate the isolation of living on a ranch, far from neighbors and town, who might be able to love him in the future, and have a family with him; children to pass his Paradise Valley cattle ranch to. Sophie was unsettled and in desperate need of a change. A few days before her wedding was to occur her fiancé called it off; only to marry her younger sister a few weeks later. Sophie is not a romantic, needing hearts and flowers. At almost thirty she is more than ready to start a family. Seeing Joe’s ad is the perfect solution; move to Montana from her home in California, get married, and move forward. Arriving in Montana, Sophie finds that life is not going to be as easy as she expected. This contract for marriage they have might lead them to love or it might just cost them their hearts. Ms. Porter, an amazing story teller in her own right, wrote a wonderfully sweet, emotional and moving story that is definitely not to be missed. This story is filled with sexual attraction, fun dialogue, and endearing characters, giving Joe and Sophie a future they only dreamt of happening. I highly recommend Montana Cowboy Romance to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

A modern day twist of a mail order bride, loved this book from the first page to the last, I could not put this book down. Pure Jane Porter romance with plenty of family drama. Joe needs a wife, so he puts out an ad for a wife. Sophie answers and is soon on a plane to Marietta. With a few bridges to cross in the next coming days you know they will have their HEA. Loved these characters both with previous heartache they both need to overcome. Joe is a rugged cowboy but has the biggest heart, and it's all about family and his ranch. Sophie has so many changes in her recent past and now to pick up and move away from her family and friends. Loved Joe's mom, Summer!! She has a mind of her own, comes across very cold but inside her heart she just wants what is best for her son. This is the first book in the series but I can't wait to read more of the Wyatt brothers. I highly recommend this book!!!
