When Maisieโs mom gives her an old phone, Maisie canโt believe her luckโfinally, she can keep up with everyone at school! Margaret Peterson Haddix grew up on a farm in Ohio. She worked as a newspaper reporter and copy editor in Indiana before her first book, Running Out of Time, was published.
