cosy-mystery, friendship, family-dynamics, murder-investigation, ghosts, verbal-humor, situational-humor***** Laughed my sox off! Again! Even if I had gotten dropped into the series cold, I would have caught up in short order. Goldie is a Sea Witch but her police detective boyfriend doesn't know that. What he does know is that a local resident who opposed changing the law that made coffee illegal in East Buckle was murdered. He also didn't know that the woman was also a Sea Witch. Add in his visiting mother, father, and nasty stepmother who favors orange colored everything, Goldie's pet Wombat who tries to destroy anything orange, and Goldie's elderly friends from the retirement home and you have the recipe for a real laugh fest!
