Mouser and Kitty

Kalpa always believed in the power of visual storytelling. Being an architect, she relied on it every day. When she found herself working full-time from home, while homeschooling Vihaan, and at the same time caring for his 3-month old baby brother, Viraaj, she saw asking Vihaan to write a book as a means of buying herself some distraction-free time. Little did she know that one day this side project will evolve into a real children’s book! Storytelling has the power to bring people closer. And this humble effort by us mamma-kiddo duo did bring us together in more ways than we could have ever imagined. We hope you will enjoy reading this book as much as we enjoyed working on it.  

This book was conceived during the Spring of 2020 when most of the World was under quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Six year old Vihaan was in the first grade and had lots of time on his hands. He was always drawing and coloring, but now he delved into doodling. This book’s original idea, sketches and storyline was developed by Vihaan.
