If it were written by anyone else it would not have been published. Main problem being the killer is a bit tame and the ending is the biggest crime . I liked the ice cream Van though.. that's classic King.

This is a great read. I read this very quickly ( sign of a good book) but must admit I didn't read it through Google, I have the paper back (along with the follow up book End of Watch, which is good also)

Not the usual 'horror' type story we are used to from Stephen King, more of a thriller, but still a brilliant book. King has a fantastic ability to draw the reader into the tale & create emotional bonds with the wonderful, in-depth characters, so much so that thus far I haven't read a book of his that I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
