நான் எழுத ஆரம்பித்தது பத்து வயதில். அண்ணனின் இறப்பு மறக்க முடியாத துக்கமாக மாறிய போது கனவரின் யோசனையை ஏற்று நாவல் எழுத ஆரம்பித்தேன். அப்போது எனக்கு 24 வயது. முதன் முதலில் நிலாவெளியில் என்ற புத்தகத்தை அந்தாதி முறையில் எழுதினேன்.
15 வருட போராட்டத்திற்க்கு பிறகு, 164 தலைப்புகளில் எழுதியுள்ளேன். இதில் இரண்டு, மூன்று, நான்கு, ஐந்து, ஆறு, ஏழு, எட்டு பாகங்கள் என்று பல புத்தகங்கள் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளன. 200-வது நாவலை 20 பாகங்களாக எழுத திட்டமிட்டுள்ளேன்.
