I started reading the Kydd series with Quarterdeck, and read through to the last. I then started back at the beginning with "Kydd", now completing the journey with Mutiny. I have thoroughly enjoyed the series, and may have to find a similar genre for my next. I really do enjoy the historical fiction books, and will probably continue with books along those lines.

Julian Stockwin is the internationally bestselling author of Kydd, Artemis, Seaflower, and Mutiny, the first four novels in the Kydd adventure series. Having joined the Royal Navy at age fifteen, he retired from the Royal Naval Reserve as a lieutenant commander and was awarded the Member of the British Empire (MBE).
