My Bestie's Ex

When Blanca Mancini decides to quit a job that doesn’t fulfill her, she doesn’t have a follow up plan. Then she encounters the childhood friend she’s been distanced from since her college years and the invitation to come live with her and her roommate opens up a new realm of possibilities. On the train ride to her new home Blanca will meet Ethan and the attraction between the two will be almost instant, but when they meet again the following day at work, it looks like things will be more complicated than following the simple course of an ongoing attraction. This story was a great beginning to a new series. Sexy, fun and romantic in good Piper Rayne fashion, it’s also filled with the depth of Ethan’s family woes and Blanca’s deep ingrained sense of loyalty. The main characters make a great couple and the set of new characters are too fun for words. I really enjoyed this book, its pace and development and I can’t wait to read more about all of the Rooftop Crew. 5 scrumptious stars

4.5 Stars This is the first book in the new Rooftop Crew series. I can tell you already I'm going to really love this series. I want to get to know the rest of the crew. Don't know how I can be patient. Now this book we have Bianca which we have met before in her brothers' books. I may have let out a little squee with their little cameo. I loved Bianca. Her and Ethan will have you gobbling up this book. You can feel their instant connection. I thought their dates/outings were super sweet and some of my favorite parts of the book. Bianca is going to find herself between a rock and a hard place. That was an interesting twist that I don't read too often. We learn there are many layers when it comes to Ethan. His back story hit me in the heart and if anyone deserves a HEA it's him. This kicked off the series with a bang and I'm really looking forward to more from this series.

5 Star Review My Bestie's Ex (The Rooftop Crew#1) by Piper Rayne Book one in an exciting new series from Piper Rayne and if My Bestie's Ex is anything to go by this will be another fabulous series. Whenever I see the name Piper Rayne, I know I am in for an entertaining read and My Bestie's Ex was no exception. From the first to the last chapter, I was riveted to the roller coaster story that the authors wove. I loved the character of Blanca Mancini from the first time she was mentioned in the White Collar Brothers series and I have been waiting patiently for her to get her own story. Blanca needs a complete change and when fate re connects her with her childhood best friend, she decides to take a chance and move to a small town; a new start that’s what she believes she needs. When she meets Ethan on a train, the chemistry sizzles and the sparks fly between them. When they meet again as co workers, the attraction is just as intense as when they first met. As the story unfolds, complications will arise. What happens when the one you fall for, is the one you cannot have? The path to true love does not run smoothly and for Blanca and Ethan it may be unreachable. I really loved Blanca and Ethan. Blanca is such a strong, sassy, feisty woman and Ethan was swoon worthy. The banter between them had me laughing out loud at time. The characters were entertaining and you cannot help but become invested in Blanca and Ethan’s story. The secondary characters were just as much fun and I cannot wait to see what Piper Rayne has in store for The Rooftop Crew.
