1 of the things I liked about the previous books of this series, other than the strong, intelligent women who took charge and saved the day was that less detail was provided, allowing me to use my imagination and really "feel " and "see" the characters in my own mind. Each book in the series caught my attention in the first couple chapters and I read straight through 2 of the books. I find myself scrolling through info dumps and only skimming entire pages of this book because there's too much detail and explanation provided, and far less action until almost half way through. I so wanted to love this one as much as the others, but I found it predictable and boring. I also found the protagonist frustrating. It seems to me everything I enjoyed about this series were removed in this book.

Loved it! The 1st book wz free so I downloaded it, read it & wwas hooked. I wanted to know what happened with Phoebe so I got that one. I ended up buying the remaining 4 books & each one was better than the one before. This was my 1st time reading Mychal Daniels. Great books! Entertaining & hard to put down once I started reading. I read on my phone @ work on breaks & lunch because I couldn't wait to find out what happens next, it took me about 3 days (with working 8 or more hours a day) to finish all 5. I really appreciate how it all came together in book 5 for everyone mentioned from book 1. Love sci-fi books, movies, etc.

Mychal Daniels has done it again. I have fallen Hard for her Olodian Alien Warrior series and truly wish they could kidnap me. I love how she takes myths and turns them into her alien race and how each women added to the Goddess blessed has their own thing the add to the group to make the warrior they are matched with whole. Even when they don't listen and have to be told what is happening by others who have gone through it. “I can’t go back home without this being done. That was the order I received this morning.” “And you are going to just take it lying down like that? I thought I raised a true warrior,” Emperor Gordin has a new house guest after her injury she is rushed to his planet to have a healing. He knows she is a goddess blessed called the joyful one. But has no idea the pain she hides from the world or the secrets of her past. He is drawn to her and hates the idea another warrior is her mate. He has had 2 and knows he will never be luck enough for a third. Ellery Chambers has been sent from earth she thinks to find Alien life she has no idea they know right were it is and set her sister up to take some nasty problems. Once Elle is injured they have to take her to the capital planet and she id the house guess of none other then the Emperor and the whole crew thinks she died in the blast where they were allowed to land.
