As another reviewer commented, it's a disappointment that there are absolutely no search capabilities. I like having the NRSV text, which doesn't seem to be otherwise available. This barebones app, however, is overpriced.

I bought this e-book for use in Sunday lectionary readings. Forget it; this is just too unwieldy to use, and the Table of Contents or Search function (if there is one) is just too hard to use. That leaves one to just flip-flip-flip through the pages to get where they need to be. Not worth your money.

First-rate scholarship balances literary, academic and devotional priorities beautifully. Language is instantly intelligible while giving tradition a vote. This edition includes every book in all Christian and Jewish canons worldwide.
