✦✨️An amazing second book in the KINGS OF THE BOARDROOM series from Nana Malone ✨️✦ ACQUISTIONS is the second book in Author Nana Malone’s KINGS OF THE BOARDROOM series and TAKEOVER absolutely must be read first. It’s a great story full of intrigue and family betrayal. At it’s heart are two strong and loyal characters each playing the long game for the best of personal reasons. I loved and admired them both. Seriously, I love the talent of Ms Malone’s writing. It’s fast-paced, witty, funny and full of banter between characters along with just the right amount of sexy times between Atticus and Gwen. And as a bonus, in ACQUISITION, for those of us who have long read Ms Malone’s books, we also got reacquainted with The WINDSOR ISLES team and THE LONDON LORDS. This is a three-parter and MERGER is up next. I’ll never tire of saying that Author Nana Malone is the Queen of Cliffy’s and her stories are too complicated and suspenseful to be confined to a single book. 5-Stars!

Leading separate lives proves to be torturous for both Atticus and Gwen and those around them. But an accidental sighting will have the flames of passion burning between them again. With danger knocking on Gwen's door, it is only with the help of Team Winston Isles that they can finally feel safe enough to strategize the overthrow of Daddy Price. And just when they think it's safe, the (unofficial) queen of cliffhangers leaves us hanging, once again, and this one I did not see coming! Torturous love, deceit, lies, and lots of family drama will have you mesmerized from the get-go. I read an ARC of Acquisition, lived it, and left this honest review.

The story is full of action and steam! The chemistry between Atticus and Gwen jumps off the page. This installment picks up a couple of months after the first one and the roller coaster ride begins. I love seeing the familiar characters in this one. I'm a big fan of the Winston Isles team! Even though I knew there is another installment to come, I was still killed by the cliffhanger ending. I love how part of the storyline was resolved in this one, but now am left wondering what's next.
