About the author

Sanjay Mavinkere Rangappa is a Principal Research Scientist and an Associate Professor at the King Mongkut’s University of Technology, North Bangkok, Thailand. His current research areas include natural fiber composites, polymer composites, and advanced material technology.

Dr. Jyotishkumar Parameswaranpillai is currently working as a Professor at the Department of Science and director of AU – Sophisticated Testing and Instrumentation Center, Alliance University, Bengaluru, India. He is a prolific editor and researcher who is the author of 170 high-quality international research articles, 100 book chapters, and editor of 40 books. He is a frequently invited speaker and a consultant for multiple organizations internationally. He has received numerous prestigious awards including the DST INSPIRE Faculty Award (Government of India) and the Best Faculty award from KMUTNB, Thailand

Dr.Yashas Gowda. T G. received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Malnad College of Engineering in the year 2014 and received his M.Tech (Machine Design) from SJB Institute of Technology, under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, India in the year 2016. He obtained a Ph.D. degree from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB). He is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan. He has published more than 25 articles in high-quality international peer-reviewed journals, 9 book Chapters, 1 book (Editor), and presented research papers at national/international conferences. Also, He has worked as an organization committee member for 3 International Conferences organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan.His current research areas include Natural fiber composites, Tribology of Composite Materials and Polymer composites. He is recognized by Stanford University’s list of the world’s Top 2% of the Most-Cited Scientists in Single Year Citation Impact 2022.

Dr. Suchart Siengchin is The President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Thailand. His research interests include Natural fiber composites, synthesis and characterization of synthetic and biopolymers and their blends, and polymer composites for engineering applications.

Dr. Seydibeyoglu is an international researcher working on polymeric composites based in Turkey. He completed his BSc and MSc degrees on Materials and Polymers respectively at the Middle East Technical University, Turkey and completed his PhD at Istanbul Technical University, Turkey on micro/nanocomposites. During his PhD studies he was granted the Norwegian Scholarship on nanocellulose research and he was invited by Prof. Kristiina Oksman to Sweden in 2007. In 2009-2010, he conducted post-doctoral studies with Prof. Amar Mohanty and Prof. Manjusri Misra on biocomposites. After his post-doc study, he joined the Carbon Fiber Company, AKSA Akrilik Kimya, Turkey as a Research Associate and worked for 1.5 years on carbon fiber and composites. Since 2012, he has been a faculty member at Izmir Katip Celebi University. During his faculty time, he has won the South African Scholarship to visit CSIR Composites group for 3 weeks where he published a book chapter. In 2017, he was UK Newton Fund Research Fellowship holder to conduct research on additive manufacturing. Since 2019, he has been a part-time faculty member at Jönköping University, Sweden. He has close to 40 SCI publications, 15 book chapters, 1 book [edited] and more than 50 conference publications and 4 patents.
