Not an easy read for me. The narrative jumps around a lot, and relies on the reader's unfamiliarity with the characters (such as they are) to mask a weak plot.

From the beginning it delivers a non-stop stream of page turning action, heavy sci-fi, deep motives and unguessable outcomes that doesn't stop even at the last page... More more more!

Everything a fan would hope to find in a new polity series. Action,
intrigue and a touch of humour.

About the author
Neal Asher divides his time between Essex and Crete, mostly at a keyboard and mentally light-years away. His full-length novels are as follows.
