This is barely worth three (3) stars, since - once again - and American historian is "combing lost archives and personal accounts" to recount what has already been covered...in fine detail. There may be a few new footnotes, a few more pieces added, but overall this really doesn't cover any new ground.

A good insite to the war from the perspective of men in an occupied country. You don't have to be a scientist to understand the urgency of this operation thanks to this easy to read book.
