Neli: A Fantastical Paranormal Romance

When Breana was a child, she and her family survived the events that completely restructured the world and its survivors. In the many years since, their small community of Neli has enjoyed relative peace and safety as they adapted to their new abilities and ways of life.

Breana never truly felt at peace in Neli, though. And, if we’re being honest, she wasn’t a huge fan of living in a safe, little bubble.

Deep down, she feels like there’s something missing in her life, and knows there’s something more out there waiting for her. 

So, with the persistent tug deep inside her and one of her late grandpa’s secret journals guiding her, Breana leaves the peace and safety of Neli behind in search of that missing something.

She imagines encountering new environments and hopes to come across unique creatures on her adventure, but not for a second does she imagine she’ll spot a group of people who turn into giant wolves. She most certainly doesn’t imagine finding herself inexplicably drawn to their dangerously intriguing leader, Dom. And yet, that’s exactly what happens.

Her trip’s starting to sound like one of those old fairy tales. Girl meets a boy. Boy is a beast — literally. Except, in Breana’s case, the girl is a woman and the boy is a man, but you get the idea. Everyone knows what happens next in those tales: drama, danger, and chaos ensue (with some romance sprinkled in there too, of course).

A normal woman would probably want to skip the drama, danger, and chaos and get straight to the romance. Breana’s never considered herself normal, though. 

Breana wants to see where her not-quite-a-fairy tale adventure takes her and hopes it comes with a happily ever after.
