I loved the hunting grounds mystery series. If you buy the boxset, you’ll get to binge read the series in order with extra scenes. I read this series a long as it came out and loved it so much, I reread the boxset and loved all the extras before the next book started. I love how there is mystery and intrigue with a solid love story. Each of these books had me captivated and I couldn’t put the book down. I didn’t think the series could get better but with each book I was more invested.

Over the Flames This is a fast paced super suspenseful romance. This is my first time reading this author and you can bet it won’t be the last. “Arden” is an investigative reporter. Her friend call her to meet him at a warehouse but what she finds is much more. Special Agent Lawson Mitchell was married to Arden but a tragedy broke them apart. “No problem, Sheriff.” Lawson pushed past her toward the warehouse. “My wife was just leaving.” This story was a second chance that I couldn’t put dow

A great way to get the first 4 books in this series! PLUS bonus epilogues. Possible spoiler*** Lawson and Arden were broken by the death of their child and divorced. Two years later they are reunited during a murder investigation. Lawson is an FBI agent and Arden is a journalist who finds her mentor dead. Their past experiences have shaped them and their reactions to each other and that makes for some issues. I enjoyed getting to know them and watching them grow in their relationship. Lots of action with twists and turns. Blair and Colson both seemed a bit abrasive to start but it all made sense once I got to know them better. There was a lot of action and suspense in this story and I can't wait to read January's. I have been waiting for January's story and I was not disappointed. She's such a strong character but is also vulnerable. Lincoln is a bit of the same. They both need to face the damage their pasts have wrought while also trying to stop a serial killer.
