Presumed Dead is a phenomenal romantic suspense that is almost impossible to put down once you start it. Nichole Severn has provided readers with a well-written book that borders on mystery/thriller. Kendrick left the ATF after being injured in a bomb blast and now works as a Battle Mountain Officer. Campbell, Kendrick's ex has arrived in town to investigate for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation on Kendrick's case. Campbell has another agenda. Campbell and Kendrick's story is cover to co

Another edge of your seat who dunnit read from Nichole Severn. With just the right amount of romance. This series just keeps getting better! I love that each book can be read as stand-alones but the characters all interact so beautifully it is worth reading the entire series. (So far)

I’d suggest reading book 3 before book 4 to avoid any spoilers. It can be read as a standalone but you will have more information on the characters and will get to go through solving the mystery in book 3 yourself discovering what brought Kendrick to Battle Mountain before the summarization in Presumed Dead. . There is something about Battle Mountain that draws in the broken and helps them to heal but the problems from the past always seem not be far behind.
