About this ebook

A famous circus. A sick elephant. A dead artist encased in wax.

What does it all mean? Neva, a bone-bending dancer, isn't sure. But she needs to find out before she ends up in wax herself.

Magic in the Mud Show is a historical fantasy set in the Barnum & Bailey circus of 1892. The story was first published in the Winter 2020 issue of The Colored Lens and serves as a prequel to Witch in the White City.

What a great story! I loved this short story to its fullest. Good job on writing this and I was much impressed about the degree of description and the particular attention to detail and spelling. So nice to read a story, albeit a rather short story, with no noticeable discrepancy in spelling or flow of words. Congratulations and thank you.
