Hard to Handle is the second book in the Caine Cousins series and it's also the conclusion. You need to read Hard to Hold before Hard to Handle. I loved Hard to Hold so I knew Lynx' story was going to be awesome. This might be one of my favorite series' by Edwards. The only thing wrong with it is that it's over! I want more! Nicole always knows how to transport me and keep me engrossed in her sexy characters. Wolfe and Lynx Caine are cousins of the fabulous Walker brothers. *fanning myself* I'm one of Nicole's biggest fans and she never disappoints. Her writing is fantastic, her characters well developed and her stories always sexy, emotional and filled with the perfect amount of lust, love, foreplay, angst and loss. Lynx is the sexy, tatted bad boy who's always itching for a fight. And he always wins. We knew there was something deep between Lynx and Reagan. They have something that goes back years and never waned. Lynx was never able to show his affection because Reagan wasn't single, but now that she is, all bets are off. He's going to make her his, because in his heart she always has been. I wasn't expecting the soft gooey center of Lynx and I loved it! He's tough and hardcore, but he's gentle, loving and will do anything for the ones he loves. Reagan is putting up a fight. She wants him more and more every day, but she can't forget his past. She's having a hard time believing his feelings, but he's giving her the time and space she needs. They still haven't caught the man terrorizing Amy and Lynx is going to protect Reagan if it kills him. Will Reagan trust in Lynx and let herself fall? Can Lynx admit his feelings once and for all and get the woman he loves? I loved this story! So much! Lynx is sexy, sweet, talented, strong and smart. Reagan is tough, beautiful and determined. We get to see more Wolfe, Rhys and Amy along with the Walkers! Praise Jesus! "Do you know how f' long I've waited to get my hand on you again? I've dreamed about you, Reagan."

4 Star review of Hard To Handle (Caine Cousins #2) by Nicole Edwards This is the second and final book in Nicole Edward’s exciting Caine Cousins series set in the small town of Embers Ridge. Although not necessary, for a better enjoyment of Hard To Handle I would suggest that you read book one, Hard to Hold prior to reading this book as it picks up where the first book left off. Both Lynx and Reagan have been in love with each other for years, (ever since they kissed when she was a teenager) although circumstances have always kept them apart. However now that she is finally available, Lynx decides it's time to take matters into his own hands and pursue her with determination. I would have to say that of the two cousins Lynx intrigued me the most; a bad boy with a heart of gold. His love interest Reagan certainly gives him a run for his money and doesn't make it easy for Lynx to finally claim his girl. It was interesting to see a few characters from Ms. Edwards other series make appearances as Lynx fights to protect the woman he loves. In Hard to Handle, Nicole Edwards also wraps up the drama and danger that surrounded Wolfe, Amy and Rhys. I look forward to seeing what Ms. Edwards has in store next.

Book 2 and conclusion to the Caine Cousins duet, you do need to read book 1 Hard to Hold because this book starts right where that book finished. Lynx and Reagan have a past they shared a kiss 10 years ago but it wasn't their time, maybe it's their time now. Reagan has finally left Billy but is he ready to let her go, is Lynx still the player she believes he is ...only time will tell and the only way you will find out is to read the book. This book is not only about second chance love, it also has a plot with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat, the characters are loveable and the chemistry is sizzling. Nicole Edwards characters are always strong and this duet is no different you will be drawn in to their life's and by the end of this book you will feel like you know them first hand they have become friends that you need to know more about. This author has a way of bringing back some of our favourite characters for a fleeting visit without them taking over the book, we only get glimpses of where life has taken them. Another series concludes and I hope we don't have to wait to long for the next book from Nicole Edwards.
