I really did not enjoy this book. I feel like the author skipped the beta-reading stage in the publishing process because the young characters are nothing like teenagers nowadays. It felt like the author was forcing it's christian beliefs onto the reader. There was barely an introduction, the book just jumped in. some readers might like that but I particularly do not. This was probably one of the worst books I've ever read and would totally not recommend.

this book is a great example of why that Bible verse is so true! I love every book by frank peretti and wish there were more! Schools and society today are trying to get rid of basic truths and are making people that want to live by the Truth of the Word of God seem like fanatics. But I believe this book is just one example of what can happen when those truths are removed from society.....chaos and destruction,!!

I REALLY enjoyed these books! The story was riveting, the author successfully combined action with great character development and great sensory illustration (not bogged down in too much detail, but still making the reader feel like they know the people and the town), and really highlighted the spiritual impact on the material world!
