I am a huge Nora Roberts fan. But...this is not one of her best novels. It seems to be a very long introduction, for a short dilemma, that gets sorted out very quickly. I kept waiting for the suspense and mystery that is common in many of her great novels, but there just wasn't any.

A new style and book for Nora Roberts, which I really enjoyed and the fact that it went for 499 pages, as I hate short books that only go for around 200 pages. Story line was involved, with the author bringing some interesting ethics and morals into play, which was engaging. Whilst we teach children that things are black and white, as we grow into adulthood we know that there are many shades of grey on a lot of matters and this book handled it well. The story was pacey, hand lots of twists and turns and gave a lot of detail about changing identities and life styles as the main character tried to outrun his chaser. Also as usual the female characters were strong willed and not stereotyped, which always draws me into the story. Another winner and I hope she does more in this style.

I really enjoyed the whole feel of this book, quite laid back, yet with that slight thriller vibe running throughout it, all the characters were very believable. This book just draws you in from the very first page and doesn't stop throughout the book, just a real page-turner for me.
