Damn, I thought Sin of Silence was good, but book 2 blew me away. I am leaving this review at 2:30am, as I just finished reading it. As with all of Ms. Slater books, never a dull moment, Over the Top Possessive Alphas and Strong Women. I must say Diogo from the Sanctuary Warlord Series is one of my favorite heroes of hers, but Josef is making a huge headway as a contender. Thanks for the great read Ms. Slater, my life as I know it is falling apart but this book kept me glued together for a few hours...Can't wait for Book 3. PS: I felt the need to add that I have been reading romance novels for over 35 years and this book took me probably 5-6 hrs to finish reading since it is 364 pages. So I have no idea why people are lying in their reviews. I would further like to state that Ms. Slater novels are well written, you know she has done her research and not just made up stuff and furthermore, they are longer than most romance novels out there. I think people who lie in reviews should be banned from leaving them because it is not fair to anyone. The reader reading the review and dismissing the book base on the lie, or the writer whose hard work is being put down, because someone just felt like it.

The second part of the trilogy I was so nervous to start this book after the cliff of the first one, but I read it in one sitting: was that good and exciting. The story begins a year later and I won't be a spoiler. The book as a bit more slow then the first one, a lot of details and reading this I remember thinking that this part reminds me of Peter from Anna Zaires. Jozef is a mix of him, scary but protective of Shawn, sweet only with her, a mean person with everybody and I very calculate man. Shaw was more undecided in this part, I know she love her job and mom but you have to be with you're man girl. Didn't expect the cousins decision and I suspect who is Phantom 😈. The suspans is killing me! I can wait to read the final book! The writing is great!! Nikita is the best one to writing this books!! Thank you for the opportunity

Once again Nikita did not disappoint. I absolutely loved Sin of Silence and was praying the rest of the trilogy was just as engaging. This book is written a bit different, but you will still get all the alpha, confidence, dark, steamy and the usual twist and turns to keep you guessing. This book will keep you on your toes. You will be frustrated, at the edge of your seat and thinking I wish that were me...you will be pulled in all directions and wondering what the heck you just read while anxiously looking for more in Goodnight, Sinners.
