Wow. Wow. Wow. This story is like watching a loved one being tortured. I kept reading while wanting to stop, to look away. The characters pushed my limits with each twist. Not really happy with the ending as the closure is warped and open ended trying to entice you to buy the next book.

This is the first book I've read by the author but it definitely won't be the last. I can't even put into words how much I loved this book. The plot is full of suspense and twist all the way to the end. The love story was great. The initiation was archaic and creepy yet hot. The dad gives a whole new meaning to "by all means possible" you have to give it a try.

This was a wonderful start to this series. The plot is engaging and intriguing and the characters are layered and complex. Marist and Royce will quickly capture your interest. The storyline will keep you right on the razor's edge and have you filled with anticipation or dread (depending on the situation). Drama, secrets, raw emotion, steam and some big, mind blowing twists will put your own emotions through the wringer as you read as quickly and as often as you can. Try to prepare for the cliffhanger because O.M.G!!!! Part two can not be released soon enough for me!
