This is a very sexy contemporary romance that I really enjoyed. The characters were interesting and Lia was especially likeable. I liked how she put herself far outside of her comfort zone for her family. Her doing that brought her to Luc's attention and his instant attraction. Lia thinks he's the most beautiful man she's ever seen. They're both searching for the same thing, even though neither will admit the truth of their search to the other. What follows is a steamy romance that fans of the genre will enjoy. This is a novel well worth reading, however I've enjoyed the author's more recent work more. The romance in this one just felt very fast and without as much development as her latest works.

About the author
Nina Croft grew up in the north of England. After training as an accountant, she spent four years working as a volunteer in Zambia which left her with a love of the sun and a dislike of 9-5 work. She then spent a number of years mixing travel (whenever possible) with work (whenever necessary) but has now settled down to a life of writing and picking almonds on a remote farm in the mountains of southern Spain. Nina's writing mixes romance with elements of the paranormal and science fiction.
